Dewey Chaffee Productions is mounting another "Screw You Review"-inspired show for the holidays called "Screwged!" at Theatre Downtown. (Tickets) He got his cast together (and a hand-painted dot com sign to boot!) to make an appearance and promote the show at the recent 2007 Orlando Pride Parade. Photos below.
The marketing geniuses (and I say that with sincerity) behind these productions have also produced a video ad and are holding a contest to win an iphone. (Click on the tickets link above to view these two things). If you turn in five friends' email addresses, so they can add them to their email list, you are entered into the drawing. Genius! And all this from a company that didn't even exist a year ago!
I think all local arts organizations could learn from these ideas! Kudos to Dewey Chaffee!
