The American Federal Building (The Round Building) downtown will be demolished, as it sits on a parcel of land that will soon house portions of the DPPAC. Nils M. Schweizer Fellows and Central Florida Modern want creatives to develop an innovative reuse of the Round Building's precast concrete brise soleil (the white cement criss cross stuff at the base of the building) on another site or sites.ie: Submit your ideas!
This is an open ideas competition. ALL are welcome. Architects, designers, artists, students and anyone with a creative solution are invited to submit proposals.
Entrants will be able to participate individually or in groups. There is no limit on the number of participants in a group entry. Interdisciplinary teams are encouraged. There is no limit on the number of times one can enter.
