Photo Credit: Leo ReynldsThe Maitland Art Center will offer a two-day $90 Cement Carving Workshop on Saturday, June 28th and Sunday, June 12. Why would you NOT want to learn how to carve cement for $90?
The workshop will take place in Studio 2 located at 231 West Packwood Avenue from 10 am until 5 pm on Saturday and from 12:00 noon until 2 pm on Sunday. Registration is required. Cost is $81 for MAC Members and $90 for Not-Yet-MAC Members A $15 materials fee is made payable to the instructor.
This workshop, taught by Instructor Susan Carter, will have students develop designs inspired by the works of André Smith, founder of the Maitland Art Center, select materials, use tools and work in a three-dimensional medium to create a small take-home piece for outdoor or inside display.
