I was curious about the Greater Orlando Actors Theatre because they recently released one of the most ambitious seasons Orlando has seen in a long time (through their myspace profile) but I couldn't find any other information online about them.
Well, that has changed. They now have a website and sent me three press releases. Ask and ye shall receive.

Their season remains the season I wrote about in an earlier post. Now they have specific dates, so I'll post the season again below.
Venue
The venue for the first two shows is H20 Church, 100 E Livingston St. Orlando, Fl. 32801, in the former 8 Seconds bar next to the Orlando Weekly in downtown Orlando. The venue for the rest of the season is TBA.
2008-2009 Season
I still think this is ambitious and honestly, I hope they freaking pull it off and shock the bejeezus out of us!
And...and... they're having auditions for A Streetcar Named Desire Friday August 15th, 2008 from 7-10pm. at Harwood Watson Dance Studio, located at 820 Humphries (behind Best Buy on E. Colonial Dr.), Orlando, Florida 32803. No appointment necessary. Please bring a headshot and resume. Actors will be asked to read from the script. All roles are open. Callbacks TBA. The show runs October 9-25, 2008 on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00pm.
