Last Cabaret Party for A YEAR!?

Ed Shepp, singing in a towel

Well this sucks.

September 4th, 8:30pm will be the very last Cabaret Party for 2008, and possibly 2009. Why? Jason Wetzel, one-half of the founding duo, will be leaving to tour with "The Drowsy Chaperone" and Luerne, the other half, refuses to let anyone else tickle her schmedley (play the piano) but Jason. I know where she's coming from. Jason is amazing, awesome and cute as hell. But um, the event needs to continue, even without the fantastic brilliance of Wetzel. He would be missed, but not having the party at all would be even more missed.

So bring your sheet music, your ten bucks and prepare one last time to get wasted and sing show tunes at Mad Cow Theatre till dawn cuz this is THE LAST TIME IN 2008 you'll have the chance to do so unless (a) Luerne changes her mind and maybe considers a replacement for Jason (Steve MacKinnon? John DeHaas?) or (b) Jason gets fired from the tour and returns to Orlando.

Do:
-bring your sheet music (in the right key, dammit)
-Plug your shows! Bring your business card! Be shameless!

Extras:
-Performances from Mad Cow's Gone Missing
-Songs from the Orlando GLBT Theatre's Festival show "Elegies"
-Everyone in attendance will be able to buy 2-for-1 tickets to Elegies
