Longtime local actor T. Robert Pigott (Adventurers Club, Comedy Warehouse) saw Gramercy Theatre's production of "Little Shop of Horrors" (website, article) and sent in an audience review:
"Gramercy Theatre's "Little Shop of Horrors" is the best production of the show I have seen since the original Off-Broadway show (which I saw three times). The set, lighting and sound were GREAT, the cast was superb and the direction and choreography were just what the show calls for. The audience, unfortunately, was almost smaller than the cast. Go see this version of the show where the actors aren't cartoon versions of the original New York cast...they're real....and they touch your musical-theatre- lovin' heart!"The show runs until October 27.
