Mayor Buddy Dyer and the City of Orlando are proud to introduce Green Works Business, an educational program designed to provide the Orlando business community with comprehensive best practices in sustainability in business. To launch the program, GreenWorks Business will offer the first of the series of green business workshops in partnership with the Disney Entrepreneur Center on October 8th, 15th and 29th.
The October workshops will provide an introduction to basic sustainability in business practices that will lay the groundwork for further learning. This is an interactive series of workshops featuring presentations on how sustainability in business is influencing the marketplace, a panel of businesses that have started their journey towards sustainability and an introduction to resources that will provide you with a framework for getting started.
Members of the business community are invited to join the GreenWorks Business program, participate in one of the October workshops and pledge to start, or further your journey towards adopting environmentally-sound business practices. The classes are free and will be held on October 8th, 15th, and 29th from
8a.m. – 10a.m. at the Disney Entrepreneur Center, 315 E. Robinson Street, Suite 100, in Downtown Orlando. To register for a workshop, please visit http://cityoforlando.net/forms/greenworks/form.htm If you have any questions, please contact Christian Oleck at 407-246-3783.
