Geeks plus theatre geeks equals good for Orlando
Theatre folks are doing their potluck dinner once again. If you like theatre, hate theatre, or couldn't care either way and just wanna meet new people, give it a go. And can I please make a formal invitation to the tech/geek community (Doterati, Florida Creatives, Digital Media Alliance Florida for example) to come out and get acquainted? Inspiration can happen anywhere and I strongly feel these two groups should start co-mingling.
OK, folks, the theater potluck is this coming Sunday, Oct. 19. It's at 7 p.m. at the Lowndes Shakespeare Center (812 E. Rollins St., Orlando), where we plan to be dining outside in the courtyard under the stars.
Sounds pretty nice, huh? Just bring a dish of something or other (edible, presumably) and show up at 7. Orlando Shakes will provide plates, utensils and so on. There will be wine, beer and sodas for sale. So that's pretty much everything anybody could possibly want. (Well, there's also world peace, but we'll work on that.)
So please come, and bring your theater (AND GEEK) friends.
