Liz Lange not coming to Orlando

Liz Lange makes maternity wear for pregnant men and women. Liz Langley makes "sex writing." For Lange, go to your hood's Target. For LangLEEE, go to the next "Soft Exposure" spoken word/reading event November 19th, 7pm, at Infusion Tea in College Park, 1600 Edgewater Drive, Orlando. She'll be the featured reader, along with "fate-based writer, feminist, social activist and professional graphic designer," Nicki Drumb, an unmarried* lesbian.

An open mic will follow the readings. Langley will not judge** you. Lange would though, hence her absence.

About Liz LangLEEE:
In her 17 years as a freelance writer Liz Langley's work has appeared in and on more than 20 publications and websites, including Glamour, Bust, Salon, alternet, the Toronto Sun, Destination Weddings & Honeymoon, The Orlando Sentinel, and probably most memorably Orlando Weekly. She has won awards from several journalistic associations, has written one book, "Pop Tart," which she's proud to say has been found in prison libraries, and her story "Sex and the Single Septuagenarian" appeared in the anthology "Best Sex Writing 2008" from Cleis Press.

Liz's first professional work, published by Zelo magazine in 1988, was short fiction. She estimates she's written more than 800 published pieces since, all non-fiction: columns, reviews and features. Now she's trying fiction again and is grateful to Soft Exposure for allowing her to test-drive it in public.
*Florida voted to make gay marriage illegal. Just one more website reminding you of that fact. You're welcome.

**Judge, meaning looking at you like you were deer poop, not judge, as in looking at you as a possible winner in a contest.
