The dates for the 2009 FilmSlams have been released. The first one is January 11, but your deadline to submit your film is January 1. Read all the rules and try it out. Idea: If you've got anything to promote in the next six months (Fringe show, etc), this would be a great venue to do it. Make a short film involving your show, band, visual art opening, whatever, slap it in the FilmSlam, and hey, free PR.
