St Frances house cares for homeless HIV-positive Orlandoeans. They've run into a financial situation and some kind folks are putting on a benefit to help them out. I've attended two of their fundraisers and the good feelings and community spirit on display at these things are tangible. Worth the drive:
Due to an unexpected loss of funding, St. Frances House finds themselves with no expendable cash to create any type of Christmas for its residents. So David Dorman and Susan Unger flew into action to plan an emergency fundraising event, which will include the considerable vocal talents of Becky Fisher, Andréa Canny, Melisa Minyard, Pedro Aquas, Shawn Walsh, and David Dorman with John de Haas on the Piano. The PH will provide some complimentary nibblies.
Admission: pay what ever you can afford or are willing to give. All donations, large or small, will be greatly appreciated.
Non-perishable foods and especially men’s toiletries (shaving cream, razors, shampoo, deodorant, etc. will gladly be accepted at this event.
