While some productions of "Rent: School Edition" have had shut-down attempts, Orlando Youth Theatre's Central Florida debut run of the high school musical has been extended to include two additional performances due to high ticket sales, according to Artistic Director Tim Hanes.
Congratulations to Orlando Youth Theatre for bringing the show to Central Florida for the very first time and for challenging our sensibilities and those of our children. You're like a one-company Kids Fringe Festival. Ooh hey! Idea! What if they took over Kids Fringe and produced actual shows by kids, for kids? Anyways, I think it will be interesting for audiences to see how this musical comes across performed by kids.________________________________________________
