Valencia Community College's dance department will present its Annual Spring Dance Concert, "An Evening of Dance," on Friday, March 27 and Saturday, March 28 at 8 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center on Valencia's East Campus, located at 701 North Econlockhatchee Trail in Orlando. (MAP)This year's concert will feature "To Have and To Hold" by guest artist choreographer Shapiro & Smith, a new contemporary ballet set to Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue" by Valencia artistic director, Lesley Brasseux, and a Latin inspired jazz piece by Rollins College director of dance, Dr. W. Robert Sherry. The concert will also feature dance students from both Valencia and Rollins College.
Ticket prices are $8 for the general public and $6 for senior citizens, Valencia employees and students with ID. Admission is free for Valencia students with ID. For further information and tickets, please call the Box Office at 407-582-2900.
