Wed., May 13 – 10:00 am –male and female dancer singers
NetWorks is pleased to announce auditions for their 2010 National Tour of Disney's Beauty and the Beast. Robert Jess Roth, dir.; Matt West, choreo.; Alan Menken, music; Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, lyrics; Linda Woolverton, book; Tricia Gentry/Bob Cline, casting. Auditions will be held at Chelsea Studios, 151 W. 26 St., 6th fl., NYC. First rehearsal is scheduled for 1/4/10, opening 2/8/10, closing date TBD. We are seeking performers with strong legit Broadway voices; prepare an uptempo or ballad which shows off your voice and range; standard Broadway music is best. If you are a character actor, prepare a song appropriate for that character. Bring sheet music. Pianist provided. You are welcome to sing from the show, but please have another appropriate selection with you. We will be singing first on Monday and Tuesday, and dancing first on Wednesday. Bring picture & resume. Actors of all ethnicities are encouraged to attend this call. We will holding auditions for Chip later on in this process, probably September. All roles paid. Non-Equity performers only.
