What to Expect
P1230074The panelists will speak briefly about their events and experiences. Then with the 2010 Orlando Improv Festival as their "project," they'll guide the audience through "producing 101," revealing the basic first steps one must take to produce a sizeable event. Their shared knowledge base and experience will provide for interesting listening. They'll start at the beginning and end up wherever they do by the end of the night. Audience questions and participation are welcome, of course!

History
Orlando Fringe Opening Kick-OffIn 2010, I am going to produce the Orlando Improv Festival. I need guidance, of course, so who better to ask than those folks already producing medium/large events in Central Florida? I planned on contacting them individually, writing down their tips and moving on. But then I had a thought: "I bet people other than me would want to hear what they have to say." So, I asked them to be on a public panel. And, it also doubles as a meet-and-greet for these event producers and audience, and as a fundraiser for the 2010 Orlando Improv Festival.
