Sand Turkey District is the stretch of Sand Lake Road between the Whole Foods atTurkey Lake Road and that shopping center with the dead Albertsons and the bell tower. Its a completely different feel from International Drive, which is just on the other side of I-4. The shopping centers, done up like a Las Vegas-style version of Italy, are anchored by higher-ish end restaurants. The locals used to call this "restaurant row" because of it.
