Zombies protesting City Hall Sept 11

PETZ, People for the Ethical Treatment of Zombies is staging a demonstration outside Orlando City Hall on Friday, September 11, 2009 at 5:30 pm. Their hope is "to draw the city law maker’s attention to the merciless attack on their zombie loved ones from ZED, Zombie Emergency Defense."

PETZ chair Jennifer Marvel is "concerned at the way local government officials seem to be turning a blind eye to the plight of Audubon Park zombies. “It’s like they have no rights and were never people at all. Zed is allowed to come into our district and hunt our pet zombies with no fear of prosecution.”

PETZ is planning a peaceful zombie demonstration of music, film and a parade on September 25, 2009 at 6:30 p.m. in the Garden District as a show of support for zombie rights

ZED members promise to be there to counter the pro-zombie forces. ZED is working with local businesses such as Buffalo Bill’s Shooting Store and Orlando Outfitters to prepare for any possible conflagration.

Other businesses, such as Sweet Boutique, Bikes Beans and Bordeaux, and Park Ave CD’s are offering their shops as a safe haven for zombies. They are stocking up with plenty of Dead Guy Ale to feed the zombies and their supporters.

For the love of God, please, PETZ< ZED, Zombies... make sure you are aware if you do or do not need a permit for this event or this might happen.
