By Scottie Campbell
Michael Arth, Candidate for Governor of Florida, answered eight questions about his life, his campaign and Ben & Jerrys. Read his answers here.
In Arth's 56 years he has been an artist, author, self-taught green urban designer, and architect. In 2001, he took a crime-ridden area in DeLand known openly as “Cracktown” and, by rebuilding and reusing buildings, transformed it into the “Downtown DeLand’s Historic Garden District,” a safe area where he and his family now make their home. Now Michael wants to use his many talents and forward thinking to help the entire Sunshine State.
