The Bach Festival Society presents 160 singers, an entire orchestra and the beauty of Knowles Memorial Chapel
The Bach Festival Society is doing "A Classic Christmas," combining the striking 160-voice Bach Choir, the magnificent Bach Festival Orchestra, historic Knowles Memorial Chapel, and the artistry and humor of conductor John Sinclair on Saturday, December 12 at 7:30pm and Sunday, December 13 at 2:00pm. The Bach Festival holiday concert is a long-standing tradition for a generation of Central Florida families. Where: Knowles Memorial Chapel (Rollins College Campus, 1000 Holt Ave – 2763, Winter Park, FL 32789). Tickets are $20 to $50 and can be bought online over the phone (407.646.2182) or at the door one hour prior to showtime.
This year’s concert features an audience sing-along with the choir and orchestra. The Bach Festival Youth Choir will be joining the Bach Festival Choir and Orchestra on stage. The concert premieres a new arrangement of “Let There Be Peace on Earth” written especially for the Bach Choir and Orchestra.
