Music at the Casa: Members of the public are invited to visit the historic Casa Feliz home museum (656 Park Avenue North, Winter Park, Florida) on Sunday afternoons from 12pm-3pm, enjoy beautiful live music and receive a tour of the house and the James Gamble Rogers II Studio museum room by trained docents. Lisa Ferrigno has been Concertmaster of the Brevard Symphony in Melbourne, Florida since 1999. A native of New England, she received her musical training at the New England Conservatory in Boston, the Eastman School of Music in New York, and Florida State University. Ms. Ferrigno has appeared as soloist with Trujillo's Orquesta Sinfonica and Orquesta Camara del Festival Internacional Bach Orchestras. As a chamber musician, Ferrigno has performed in recitals and festivals in New York, California, Florida, Vermont, Michigan, New Hampshire, South Carolina and Colorado. Internationally, she has performed in the Czech Republic, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and Germany.

Beautiful Music with Shannon Caine - established in 1989, also featured as preferred partner at the Casa Feliz since prior to Grand Opening events with our musical groups. Our Spanish Guitarist and Latin Jazz Guitar Flute Duo performed for the pre -opening party and Grand opening events for this special venue. The hundreds of events that have ensued also included the first Casa Feliz wedding, Christening, Birthday Party and Corporate Event. Offering from solo musicians to ensembles with custom instrumentation. Genres include classical, jazz and dance music. Specializing in unique collections designed especially for the Casa Feliz venue.

Over the years Michael has performed with and/or opened for many of the world's finest musical acts including; The Temptations, The Four Tops, The Spinners, The Everly Brothers, The Righteous Brothers, Chubby Checker, Beach Boys, Paul Revere and the Raiders, Buddy Guy and many many more....
Since moving to Orlando in the late 90's Michael was once again blessed to meet and perform with some of the areas best local talent including: Elliot Dyson, Christian Valenzuela, Steel Drummer/Calypso and Reggae Artist Extraordinaire - John Steele Smith, Sunyatta(Sunyatta.com), Event Music (Eventmusic.com) Scott Wilson and Greg Little(Trumpeters Extraordinaire), Wes Hambrick (Westin Grand Boheme), Rich Walker, Kenny Drew Jr., Don Scaletta, Southtown Fever(Tampa) and the Altamonte Springs Jazz Ensemble and most recently Michael has begun working with the smooth jazz guitarist Robert Harris.

Vanessa Vache is a clarinetist in the Orlando, Florida area who doubles on saxophone and recorder. She plays with the Florida Lakes Symphony Orchestra, Walt Disney World Orchestra and the Opus 5 Woodwind Quintet, along with other musical ensembles in the Orlando area. She offers a variety of musical ensembles for your event. Listen to the samples provided on her website and see if any suit your needs. Smaller ensembles can be very flexible regarding group size and the instrumentation used, especially in the early music category. There are many different combinations that can be used for weddings as well.

Friends of Casa Feliz is the non-profit organization which funded the move and restoration of this historic home, and which currently operates and maintains the facility. No municipal funds go to support Casa Feliz-the house is funded solely through rental income and generous contributions from individuals and corporate patrons. Further, the group is committed to hosting programs and special events which support the maintenance and preservation of the community's rich architectural and historic resources. Visit our historic home museum on Sunday afternoons from 12-3 pm for "Music at the Casa" and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10-12 noon.
