2010 Mount Dora Ar Festival | Taco in a Bag

At the 2010 Mount Dora Art Festival, Mount Dora's "only source for soft serve ice cream" called The Big Twist (130 West 5th Avenue, Mount Dora, FL 32757) served up "Taco in a Bag." I thought it was hilarious and original, but it turns out, so did everyone else... in 1982.
The “walking frito pie” began in Knoxville, Tennessee, at the 1982 World’s Fair. "Walking Taco” or “Taco-in-a-Bag” are not really tacos, but are Midwest names for the Texas dish called “Frito pie.” A bag of Frito’s corn chips is opened and topped with various ingredients, such as cheese, beans, tomatoes, onions, ground beef, guacamole, and salsa. Regardless of who invented it, its a disgustingly beautiful idea I can wrap my lips around.
