The Winter Park Playhouse has created a very popular “New York Style” cabaret in its elegant lobby bar and continues its new Spotlight Cabaret Series with a cabaret from Central Florida’s well-loved performer LAURA HODOS.
Ms. Hodos returns to Winter Park directly from a critically-acclaimed run as Elvira (the ghost) in BLITHE SPIRIT at American Stage Theatre Company in St. Petersburg. Locally, she has performed with The Orlando Philharmonic, The Jacksonville Symphony, The Winter Park Playhouse, Orlando Theatre Project, Mad Cow Theatre and Seaside Music Theater just to name a few.
She will be singing from her wide repertoire including both favorite standards and unique selections, but these songs are both personal and possibly precarious to throw into one evening of song! Ms. Hodos combines her casual style and wit along with her beautiful voice to offer a “sure to please” 55 minute cabaret evening.
Performances are Friday, February 26 at 7:30pm and Saturday, February 27 at 7:30pm and 9:30 pm. Tickets are $15 and include a drink at the bar.
