100% of the money raised from the sale of art at Art With a Heart Haiti Fundraiser is being donated to Doctors without Borders in Haiti. The event is Friday, March 26th, 3-9 pm at Maitland Art Center (Germaine Marvel Building, 10 W. Packwood Ave., Maitland, FL)
Live music, wine and good art conversation will be featured as well as a painting demo by local artist and MAC teacher Patti Shistle, will be featured. Her painting will be sold, along with a variety of artworks donated by local artists and collectors, during the 6 hour art sale and silent/live auction.
Original paintings, drawings, jewelry and sculptures, as well as some prints, will be available from many local arts’ groups, including Creative Spirit Art Gallery, Comma, Crealde, Maitland Art Center, and Women's Caucus for the Arts. This is an opportunity to buy quality original artwork, some from internationally collected artists such as Morgan Samuel Price, Patrick McGrath Muniz, Stacy Barter and Beatrice Athanas, for a very reasonable price and also support an outstanding organization working to help our neighbors in need in Haiti.
