United Arts of Central Florida in association with Citrus Club Orlando presents Musical Theatre Performer Laura Hodos, accompanied by Mr. Chistopher Leavy, in Hero Worship: Songs I've Only Attempted in My Shower. April 8, 2010 6pm-7:45 pm.
Ms. Hodos was most recently seen at the Winter Park Playhouse, where she performed her sold-out cabaret show entitled "Hero Worship: Songs I've Only Attempted in My Shower!" During this very special performance, Ms. Hodos performed select pieces from her New York-style cabaret featuring a diverse repertoire including Broadway standards and hits and also shared what life is like through the eyes of a professional musical theatre performer.
As featured in an article by Elizabeth Maupin on February 25th: A New Jersey Native, Ms. Hodos has also performed at Lincoln Center with Donna Murphy and Radio City with Maureen McGovern. Locally, she has performed with the Orlando Philharmonic, the Jacksonville Symphony, Winter Park Playhouse, Orlando Theatre Project, Mad Cow Theatre, Seaside Music Theater, Caldwell Theatre, and Actor's Playhouse, just to name a few.
