3-18-10 | TheDailyCity.com Mobile Art Show was honored to feature artist and blogger Thomas Thorspecken in its seventh show March 18, 2010. For over a year, the artist committed himself to at least a sketch a day of Orlando, and this show displayed over 100 of his sketches on the upper portion of the walls, four full sketch books (in custom cases built by the artist) hung from the ceiling, and a UHaul-sized wall sketch hung on a side of the truck. The crowd favorites were the six full sketch books laid open, allowing visitors to thumb through hundreds of the Thorspecken's vivid interpretation of events, people and places in the city of Orlando.
Outside on the sidewalk, a monthly meetup sketch group called Dr Sketchys gathered to sketch their live model, a stunning blonde stilt performer named Lyn Sky. To the right of them was the improv guru Jeff Wirth inside his experiential improv room-size box called Pla (pronounced play), assisted by his producer, Tisse Mallon.
