Pintura Project, the international graffiti conference, is back Saturday April 24, 2010 12pm-8pm at 630 W Central Avenue, Orlando, FL 32805. Graffiti artists will be painting live on over 10,000 square feet of wall space all day. Food, drinks, booths selling spray paint and supplies, free parking. (Photos from 2009).
About: Pintura Project was first organized in Orlando,FL in 2008. "Pintura" which means paint in most latin based languages, was a universal keyword to get the message across at a a grand international scale. We have reached into a selective and elite group of artists; known for their contributions in the history of the modern american based art form known as "Graffiti". Artists included were those involved in the revolutionary 1970's New York City subway art movement; to current day pioneers from across the world such as China,France,Germany,Puerto Rico, Canada, Mexico,United Kingdom, and from all reaches of the United States. To our success, we received over 2000+ guests attending our first annual event held in downtown Orlando at 630 W.Central Blvd. without incident. Several media organizations inlcuding The Orlando Sentinel, The Orlando weekly, Focus Magazine and among many others, covered the event and gave high praises in their reviews.
