Terry Olson, Orange County Arts & Cultural Affairs Director, tells TheDailyCity.com about the Playground Arts & Music Festival and Summer Camp Fair and a bit of its history. The festival/fair took place April 18, 2010 at Lake Eola Park and we were there to see it all.
About: In the heart of Downtown Orlando, experience expressive performances and visual art displays by local students, and discover the benefits of Arts Education as you explore this one stop shop for summer camp opportunities offered by a host of arts organizations throughout Central Florida. Families in attendance will receive a $5.00 coupon towards the cost of enrolling their child in the camp of their choice! Open from 10am – 4pm on Sunday, April 18th, the FUN wraps all the way around the lake and includes games, performances, and interactive arts demonstrations.
