In The Spotlight, a children's theatre company, is hosting an open house Saturday, June 12, 2010 at the YMCA Aquatic Center Performing Arts Space on I-Drive. FREE vocal, acting, audition and dance workshops from 1:00-4:00 pm and a Glee Sing-A-Long with pianist/performer Tim Evanicki. "Food, beverages, and fun - a performing arts extravaganza."
About: In the Limelight is an innovative, exciting new theatrical production company for children and teens in Central Florida. Our focus is to present high quality dramatic and comedic plays, featuring children and teens in all of the roles. In addition to productions, we specialize in small group instruction and private coaching for young actors interested in drastically improving their stage performances. In the Limelight is dedicated to not only training students to become markedly better actors, using proven, comprehensive, advanced techniques, we also specialize in audition preparation for young actors in all mediums.
Owner and Artistic Director, Katie Corrie has been in the business of children’s theatre for 20 years and has trained close to two thousand children over the years to be more confident, disciplined and successful actors and public speakers. All classes and productions are taught and directed by Katie Corrie.
