About the Show
If you like crafty, Etsy stuff, you'll love this show. A giant tree will be constructed inside the UHaul for all the work to hang on: tiny stuffed owl and rabbit pillows, felt clutches, Bob Dylan tribute paintings, magical animal series paintings, fantasy clock paintings and cardboard cuckoo clocks.

Its like a recreation of Betsy's living room. "I feel like this show is as if I'm throwing a party in my living room, inviting people into my home and showing them what I like: colorful, whimsical, tangible objects." Also, much of the raw material used in making the pieces in the show were intended for the trash heap, but through Betsy's creative hands, are now wonderful charming pieces of fun.

About Betsy Dye
Blog | Betsy Dye likes to make things. She works as the Marketing Coordinator at the Orlando Shakespeare Theater, mainly focused on graphic design. When she is not at the theater, she is likely in her tiny kitchen painting or crafting. You might've seen her felt owls at Pinklight Bazaar over the past few years. She's never studied art but she hopes that you can't tell. Mostly, she just wants to make you smile.

About TheDailyCity.com Mobile Art Show
MSN.com named it one of America's 10 Wackiest Businesses on Wheels*. New York City art blog Culturebot.org called it very cool.** An official part of the City Arts Factory downtown art gallery crawl called "Third Thursdays," TheDailyCity.com Mobile Art Show is an art show in a UHaul produced by Mark Baratelli for the Orlando culture blog TheDailyCity.com. Walk up the loading ramp each month and see a new featured artist and their work hanging on the truck's bare walls. As night falls, the christmas lights taped to the ceiling barely light the mobile gallery. Its been seen at several Orlando spots including Enzian Theater, The Milk District, United Arts and Barnes & Noble and has featured artists including poster designers Lure Design, sketch artist Thomas Thorspecken, puppeteer Jack Fields and theatre lighting designer Aron Altmark.
