Susan Vargo of Nickelodeon Tours spoke with us Tuesday July 27, 2010 on the phone. She is bringing her latest show, Storytime Live, to Orlando August 4-5, 2010 at the Bob Carr Theatre in downtown Orlando.
The show features four of the top-rated preschool shows: “Dora the Explorer,” “The Backyardigans,” “Ni Hao, Kai-lan,” and “Wonder Pets.” The show is hosted by Moose & Zee as they take you through four exciting musical adventures.
Mrs. Vargo is a successful theatrical Producer who's an Orlando native! Born and raised in Orlando (Maitland, Winter Park, South Orlando), she stayed until she went to college in Chicago. She attended Dr Phillips High School for Visual and Performing Arts. In 1994, she along with Joey Fatone and Wayne Brady were inducted into its Alumni Hamm of Fame.
Storytime Live is absolutely wonderful for those over seven years of age Mrs Vargo assured me just after the interview wrapped. She slightly misspoke towards the end of the call and inferred her 7 year old relative might be too old for the show. But rest assured, the show is wonderful for those over seven! (And this is coming from the show's Producer!)
