About Thunder Hag
Thunder Hag is the glorious daughter of the sun! Wielding the Thunderstick, an apparatus forged from a leg of Baba Yaga's hut, she weaves the stories that sustain the Kingdom of Lies. Supported by suicidal robots and singing cupcakes, she turns myths inside-out to prophecy with their guts. In these entrails she reads the many futures our lives hold: doomed love, doomed friends, doomed magic, doomed science, and doomed doom. There is no hope. Let's laugh about it while we can. (The alter-ego of Central Florida artist/performer Hannah Miller, Thunder Hag is a mutlimedia project examining the mutability of archetypal characters and relationships through music, puppetry, and performance.)
About A_Scissors
Brian Cunningham, (AKA; A_Scissors), (press kit) is a Florida-based electronic musician, whose compositions and live performances are lush musical tapestries woven from poignant flowing melodies, coalescing rhythms, delicately placed vocal samples, and ambient soundscapes. A_Scissors creates his music with a strong impetus placed on personal nostalgia, child-like themes, & universal harmonies. Avoiding computers for production and using hardware such as synthesizers, sequencers, samplers, and drum machines, A_Scissors translates what he does in the studio effectively into a live setting, creating a stage performance as organic as that of a live band. A_Scissors is influenced by many different artists, including: Aphex Twin, Brian Eno, Nathan Fake, and Boards of Canada.
