Beginning August 15, 2010 the boxes will be available for pre-order and will begin being distributed and planted on the 22nd of August. The grow boxes retail for $35+ dollars but as a service to our community we are only asking for a minimum donation of $20 which will include the box, starter kit, soil and your choice of seeds.
The Grow Boxes will be available throughout the Fall for order and pick-up until 2 weeks prior to the festival on November 20th.
Everyone will bring their grow boxes, in their various stages of growth, to Central Park’s West Meadow on the Friday 19th of November and we will construct our mobile community garden from all of the boxes.
