Described by Stephen King as "the quintessential ghost story," The Turn of the Screw tells the story of an inexperienced governess who journeys to an isolated English manor to care for two orphaned children. Her inquiries into the children’s unusual behavior reveal a dark secret and uncover two malicious ghosts determined to possess the innocents in her care.
The Turn of the Screw features Orlando audience favorites Eric Hissom (Wittenberg, King Lear, Moon for the Misbegotten) and Suzanne O’Donnell (Merry Wives of Windsor, Comedy of Errors, Othello) and is directed by Orlando Shakes resident artist, Anne Hering (Yankee Tavern).
