The city's bus service known as LYNX has a downtown-only bus service called LYMMO. Up until September 23, 2010, all nine of these LYMMO busses were diesel. Now, they're hybrids. The conversion of the LYMMO fleet from diesel operated to hybrid electric will save 46,500 gallons of gasoline annually and reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions by 4,086 tons. Three of these LYMMO busses will be wrapped in art culled from the collection inside the soon-to-open Amway Center.
