Williamsburg Community Seeks Used Fitness Equipment

Parkview Pointe is a single-family home community located in the Williamsburg area just one mile from SeaWorld Orlando. This community is looking for used fitness equipment to be donated in hopes of revitalizing their club house fitness room entitled Parkview Pointe Fit Club. The mission to revitalize the Fit Club is to create a friendly and welcoming environment for residents of all ages to maintain or increase their current level of fitness and well-being.

Nearly 4 million Americans born during the “Baby Boomer” era (1946-1964) will turn 50 years old in 2010. The Parkview Pointe Community was built in 1989 based around the community being primarily for seniors. Now that the community includes boomers, families, young professionals and seniors, it is important to have a central location within the community for its members to maintain their health and fitness.

Donations being sought include treadmills, elliptical machines, recumbent bikes, artwork, large wall mirrors and flat screen televisions. If a member of the community knows of a local hotel, resort or company interested in donating any of the items on our wish list, please contact Cory Warren by sending an email to ParkviewPointeFitClub@gmail.com. All donors will be recognized via a wall plaque within the Fit Club.
