Dispel Display Displeasure via Davidson's Directives

We doubt Davidson would have many good things to say about our hanging of the art in the first ever Mobile Art Show in 2009. But hey, we had fun.

The Osceola Center for the Arts is putting on a workshop hosted by The Center’s Visual Arts Director, Jules Davidson, called “Presentation, Presentation, Presentation!” on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 in the Center’s Art Room, from 6-8 p.m.

This workshop includes helpful tips on proper framing and display of visual arts mediums including painting, photography, drawing and sculpture as well as photographing artwork, digital presentations for submitting artwork to various exhibits, and sharing artwork online and in emails.

The registration fee is $10 for Center Art Associates members and $15 for non-members. See their site for details and a registration form. Participants may sign up until the time of the workshop, however early registration is preferred. All participants are encouraged to bring one framed or gallery ready piece of artwork to the workshop for a personal presentation evaluation.

The Center is located just east of the Florida Turnpike exit 244 on Hwy 192 between Kissimmee and St. Cloud. Call 407-846-6257 for info.
