The Orlando Science Center's Annual Neanderthal Ball is Saturday, November 6, 2010, 7-11pm. If you want to "party like a caveman with an animal print necktie or a bone in your hair" amidst the center's dinosaur exhibit, this is your event. $125 per person. For tickets, go online or call 407.514.2233.
Guests will rock out with themed entertainment and music, create their own cave painting, and indulge in the delectable food and wine choices under the starlit sky on the beautiful Terrace overlooking downtown Orlando. Dress code is cocktail attire with an accent on “cavemen couture" - show your prehistoric flair with an animal print necktie or leopard pattern cocktail dress.
Evening festivities will include fun, fire, gourmet food, open beer and wine bars, and an exciting silent auction. Step into the past to support the future by bidding on one of the incredible silent auction items that are available exclusively to guests at the Neanderthal Ball. So dust off your club and drag your date to the Neanderthal Ball.
Participate in a “diamond dig” for an authentic half-karat diamond, see a dinosaur come to life under the skilled hands of Disney topiary artists, or chisel your mark at the silent auction - all to benefit programs for youth at the Orlando Science Center.
The event is presented by Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children with special thanks to print sponsor Sun Dance Marketing Solutions. The Neanderthal Ball serves as the Orlando Science Center’s biggest friend-raiser of the year and attracted over 400 guests last year.
