Babycakes NYC Hits Orlando With Vegan Gluten Free Bakery Goodness

The newest US location of BabyCakes NYC (there are two in NYC and LA) is in Orlando at Downton Disney inside a former McDonalds (1674 East Buena Vista Drive, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830 | MAP). The treats look tasty, are healthy*** and not priced a dime higher than any you'd find locally. According to the owner's blog,  it took two years to complete and was part of Disney wanting to bring healthier food options to its guests. Its located inside the building marked "Fresh A-Peel" and open 8am until 11pm. They recommend parking in Parking Lot 2. Contact: 407.938.9044, dtd@babycakesnyc.com.

***The bakery uses all-natural, organic and delicious alternative ingredients free from the common allergens: wheat, gluten, dairy, casein and eggs. All sweeteners have been chosen responsibly and used sparingly. White sugar and toxic chemical sweeteners will never be found in the bakery. Instead, most products are sweetened with agave nectar—a natural syrup from a cactus which is low on the glycemia index and often a safe alternative to most non-insulin dependant diabetics. Occasionally, unprocessed and unrefined sugar is used in certain goods, although sparingly.
