1. Orlando Weekly's new editor (who I thought was a "he" at the time of this taping) asked me to lunch, I said yes, then a month passed. When's lunch?

2. Our next Mobile Art Show is December 16, 2010 6pm - 8:30pm in a moving van at the corner of Orange and Pine featuring the very thin Tess Bonacci and her blanket of unstuffed cat toys. Learn more

3. ArtsFest 2011 runs Feb 4 -13 and features hundreds of free arts events all over Central Florida including a show the Orlando Improv Festival is producing called "A Night of Long Form." (Full disclosure: the same company that owns The Daily City owns Orlando Improv Festival.)

4. Young Frankenstein played Orlando for one week at the Bob Carr Performing Arts Center and I attended opening night. At the time of taping, I thought the show was playing for a month. Wrong! Oops.

1. Journey through a dark snowy forest to discover larger than life raven and spider marionettes handing you a paper flower, beautiful fairies lounging about, and dancers politely interrupting your walk with enchanting diversions of movement and sparkle at Macabre Vignettes #3 | SNOW, the next collaboration between experience designer Tamara Marke-Lares and modern dance company Voci Dance. 2. Orlando's got several live productions of the classic holiday tale, A Christmas Carol, to choose from. If you like it family friendly, a community production, one in the heart of Winter Garden or one full of drag queens, there's a production in Orlando for you in December. Learn More

3. ‘The trailer’ is a piece of conceptual art on exhibit in north Central Park in downtown Winter Park through January 20, 2011. The sculpture, constructed entirely of stainless steel wire fabric, is a registered vehicle that will examine the nature and perception of privacy with several live performances consisting of actors ignoring all outside stimulus. The audience is expected to try to participate. Learn more

4. Take a tour of the C-Span Digital Bus December 7, 2010; 9am - 12pm at the downtown Orlando public library and see the latest interactive technology connecting visitors to public affairs and government, while providing a greater understanding of C-SPAN’s free resources. The Bus is equipped with four Touchsmart computer kiosks to access C-SPAN's resources, which include the Video Library, C-SPAN Classroom, Book TV, and their many websites.
