Dog Powered Robot Fundraiser 2011

Dog Powered Robot and the History of the Future, a show coming to the 2011 Orlando Fringe Festival, is holding a fundraiser Thursday, March 10th 2011, 8pm - 11pm at Blank Space Gallery & Lounge (201 East Central Boulevard, Orlando, FL 32801-1909). $5 donation.

You may remember a 3-minute version of the show from last year's Orlando Fringe Festival. Watch the video. It was the underground sensation of the festival. And if you attended last Fall's Fringe Fundraiser, you saw another creation from the show's creator, a giant yellow tiny-headed robot with pooper-scooper claws. Watch the video here. He makes an appearance around the 1:10 mark.

At the fundraiser on March 10, 2011, for five bucks you get a live viewing of the 2010 Dog Powered Robot show, a world premier viewing of the Dog Powered Robot music video (Yes, there's a video, too!), an exclusive performance by Tod Kimbro (nothing to do with Dog Powered Robot, but a fun guy and performer!) and the first 25 people through the door will receive a limited edition collector's button only available at this event. Beer and Wine will be available. All proceeds from the fundraiser will go towards the 2011 Fringe performance.

The silent auction includes baskets including Samsung Blu-Ray player and Flash Cam, Collector's t-shrots, poster, buttons and a photo with Dog Powered Robot in the cardboard city.

About the Show:
Dog Powered Robot is back by popular demand and this time he’s fighting for us. This fast and funny show features lights, sounds, robots, puppets, pets, dancers and live singing all set to an original soundtrack. Can Dog Powered Robot save us or will the world end up neutered? Find out by watching Dog Powered Robot and The History of The Future, this May at the 2011 Fringe Festival's Green Venue.
