As the weather gets nicer, what could be more fun than catching a free movie on a balmy evening, underneath the stars, with happy hour priced drinks and award-winning food at hand? That was a rhetorical question. Nothing could be more fun.

To that end, our pals at Enzian have just announced their new Laughs on the Lawn program. They'll be playing a legendary comedy on the lawn (almost-) every Wednesday, starting next week. These films are all crowd-pleasers, and the atmosphere will be relaxed and, as I said before, fun. The "Wednesday Night Pitcher Show" (very clever) will also feature Jell-O Shot trivia, so your chances of getting "festive" are directly proportional to your movie knowledge. And again, admission to each movie is free. So what's your excuse?

Here are the films you can look forward to seeing. On the off-chance that you're not at least a little familiar with any of these, each link is for a movie trailer:

Feb 23 - THERE’S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY (1998, dir by the Farrelly Brothers)
Mar 2 - DAZED AND CONFUSED (1993, dir by Richard Linklater)
Mar 16 - SPACEBALLS (1987, dir by Mel Brooks)
Mar 23 - ANIMAL HOUSE (1978, dir by John Landis)
Mar 30 - WEIRD SCIENCE (1985, dir by John Hughes)

(All shows start at 8pm)
