We got the invite to check out the new Heat Tandoor Lounge on Church Street inside 55 West right near he Amway Center on media preview night back in January and just got around to posting the video. Woops! By day its a restaurant, but night its a club. Giant sheer curtains, full stage atop one of two lit bars, colorful chandeliers, great outdoor seating and an open-style kitchen where you can watch the cooks prepare the food by dipping it into these giant fire pits.
We got a full tour of the kitchen and a sampling of several dishes. I'm no foodie, so all I can say is yum. The most creative thing they served was deconstructed cheesecake: all the parts of a cheesecake, separated, on a plate with dividers. You take your fork and dip each element together and create your own custom bites. Yum. Like I said before.
