Ever want to see "Steel Magnolias" performed by sign language interpreters? Nows your chance. Hearing-impaired individuals are invited to attend an American Sign Language (ASL) interpreted performance of Steel Magnolias at The IceHouse Theatre (1100 N. Unser St., Mount Dora, FL 32757) on Saturday, February 12th at 8 pm. Two professional ASL interpreters will utilize their skills in interpreting a live theatrical performance; abilities which require special training. Select seating is available for those who wish to be closest to the ASL interpreters at Saturday’s 8 pm show; interested patrons must request to be ticketed in these designated seats. Each deaf individual and one companion may purchase tickets for $10 for this performance.
