We attended February 20, 2011 Sweet Up Orlando event, which took place 1pm - 3pm at Babycakes NYC Bakery (Downtown Disney, 1674 East Buena Vista Drive, Lake Buena Vista, FL). Follow the Orlando SweetUp twitter account to find out when their next SweetUp will be.
What is a "Sweet Up"? Based on their event page from 2009, a "Sweet Up" is this: "Make sure you make your dentist appointment... We've done the Twitter meetups (tweetup), now it's time for a SWEETup! Lots of candy, cake, cupcakes, chocolate - whatever we can get our hands on... Price of admission: Bring your favorite treat! Seeing as though, this will not be at a restaurant or bar, only some beverages will be provided. If you would like to bring something to drink with you as well, that would be wonderful! The more the merrier!"
The first "Sweet Up Orlando" was held at the Winter Park Wedding Chapel and featured sweets from visitors as well as pros including @KernelEncore, @SweetByHolly and @JeremiahsIce.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the founder of the event handing out free brownie samples in white paper sacks.
I wasn't hungry for a full-size cupcake, so I asked them to ice me a mini chocolate chip one with mint icing. The woman on the left is the manager.
Things were in full swing when I arrived. A corner of the restaurant was full of SweetUp-ers.
There were several babies and a few adults.
