About: Starving Artist Studios is a full-service performing arts training facility in Orlando, FL offering classes in Music, Theatre, Dance and private lessons in Voice, Piano and Guitar. Our professional instructors offer classes for all ages from toddler through adult/professional. Opening its doors in summer, 2011, Starving Artist Studios strives to bring the performing arts to the Central Florida community in a nurturing, educational and affordable fashion through classes, special events and master classes.
Dance: We offer classes in the following areas of Dance for toddlers through age 18: Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Modern, Musical Theater, African, Pointe, Acro, Middle Eastern Belly Dance and Hawaiian Dance. We also offer Stretching/Toning Classes, Conditioning classes, Aerobic Dance classes and Tap Classes for Adults. Private Dance lessons are also available. Couples Ballroom Class is held on Friday evenings for 90 minutes with a class followed by a free dance with refreshments included in the cost of the class. Each class session is 8-weeks long for Ballroom Classes.
Music: We currently offer private voice lessons in Voice, Piano, Drums, Violin, Bass Guitar and Guitar. Group classes are also available in Voice, Guitar and Drums. Preparing for an audition? Theatre: Our Theatre Department will offer classes in Monologue Study, Musical Theatre, General Acting Classes, Acting for the Camera and Improvisation for all ages and levels. Private Monologue/Acting Coachings are also available
