This is a free clothing event featuring clothes, shoes, jewelry, for free, and select pieces for sale from it's collection. According to the U.S. EPA Office of Solid Waste, Americans throw away more than 68 pounds of clothing and textiles per person per year. Other Peoples Property is trying to help reduce that number by having you keep your clothes in circulation and out of landfills.
1. Swap:
1. Bring all your clothing, shoes, jewelry and drop it off. Peruse what others (and Other Peoples Property) brought and take some new pieces home. Some of the left over clothes are going to Dress For Success, a non-profit that helps women get interview appropriate clothing and tips.
2. Shop:
Other Peoples Property offers up pieces from it's vintage and handmade collections: clothing, shoes, jewelry, bags and more. A percentage of everything sold will be given to Charity Water.
