Art Appraisal Event for Cornell Contemporaries at Rollins

The Cornell Contemporaries, a young affiliates group of the Rollins College Cornell Fine Arts Museum, is pleased to announce that they will host an art appraisal event on Saturday, October 29 from 10am -2pm at the Cornell Fine Arts Museum.


The event is open to the public and will feature appraisers with expertise in many areas. Patrons are encouraged to bring their fine art, art glass, art pottery and Asian art for review and will receive a verbal appraisal priced at $10 for each item. Appraisals will be limited to hand carried items only. Proceeds for the event will benefit the acquisition fund for the Cornell Fine Arts Museum.

ABOUT THE CORNELL CONTEMPORARIES
The Cornell Contemporaries is an affiliate membership group of the Cornell Fine Arts Museum. This group was established for young professionals between the ages of 21-40 to be exposed to the many facets of the art world through educational and networking opportunities. The Cornell Contemporaries board plans and executes artist studio visits, educational sessions and a major fundraiser aimed at benefitting CFAM artwork acquisitions. Potential members can gain access to the group simply by procuring at minimum a $30 membership from the Cornell Museum and remaining active within the organization.


ABOUT THE CORNELL FINE ART MUSEUM
The George D. and Harriet W. Cornell Fine Arts Museum is a bountiful resource for the academic community of Rollins College and the wider interest of art lovers worldwide.
