March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction


The Signature Chefs Auction fundraising event is Thursday, November 10, 2011 at Rosen Shingle Creek Resort (9939 Universal Blvd, Orlando, FL 32819), 6pm  Culinary Tasting and Silent Auction, 7:30pm Signature Dessert and Live Auction & Program. Attire: Cocktail/Business. If you’re interested in attending, participating or sponsoring this event, please contact Heidi Richmond with the March of Dimes at HRichmond@marchofdimes.com or 407.599.5077 ext. 33. 


What to expect: First, bring together top local chefs from across Central Florida to showcase their culinary masterpieces.  Next, mix in a generous sampling of fine wines, craft beers and signature cocktails. Finally, add in fabulous entertainment and a lively auction featuring one-of-a-kind packages, and you’ve got a perfect recipe for a Signature Chefs Auction event. 


This year, we are celebrating the Central Florida food culture by asking our chefs to feature locally sourced ingredients and fresh, seasonal produce from Florida.


This event, which helps raise important dollars for the March of Dimes, pays tribute to the culinary excellence of local chefs and caterers in the Central Florida community, and is geared towards philanthropically minded people who enjoy fine dining, fine wine, auctions and entertainment.



The Signature Chefs Auction will have 15 of the finest chefs, caterers and/or local celebrity chefs who will present their signature dishes in a tasting size during a reception, as well as donate a unique package to be sold during the live auction.  


After enjoying an entertaining reception, guests are invited to bid on a variety of packages during a live auction.  Auction packages may include fine dining, hotel/resort stays, weekend getaways, spa vacations and much more.
