WAYNE'S WORLD plays for free at Enzian this Wednesday (January 4) at 8pm. (Info)

People are often surprised when they hear that Wayne's World is one of my all-time favourite films. Maybe it's because I'm pretentious, dress like a geography professor, don't listen to heavy metal music, and have an English accent. But I really, really love Wayne's World, which is why I'm super excited about seeing it underneath the stars at Enzian this week. Very few things make laugh as much as Dana Carvey's asides to the camera, the tour of Rob Lowe's apartment, the way the gang reacts to their new, corporate studio, and Ed O'Neill's brief cameo and story about Native American lore. Put it this way: one Christmas, four of my friends bought me various racks as gifts (wine, toast, tie, I forget the fourth) just because there's a throwaway line in 'Wayne's World' about a gun rack. I wish this review could have a Scooby Doo ending, but I'm not talented enough. See you there!
