Dwyane Wade's 5th Annual NBA-All Star Party

Camping World & Good Sam has signed on as Title Sponsor for 8 X NBA All-Star Dwyane Wade’s 5th Annual All-Star red carpet soiree on Thursday, February 23rd in downtown Orlando, it was announced today by Camping World/Good Sam Chairman and CEO Marcus Lemonis. The company CEO and Dwyane Wade have four natural connections.

Dwyane Wade grew up in Chicago, Illinois where Camping World/Good Sam is headquartered. Wade attended and played college basketball at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin which is also where Camping World/Good Sam  Chairman and CEO Lemonis attended college. In addition, Wade has played his entire NBA career for the Miami Heat and Miami is where Lemonis grew up. Finally, both Wade and Lemonis have strong philanthropic beliefs and are heavily involved in charitable organizations and giving back.

“The natural connections between Dwyane and me with Miami, Chicago and Milwaukee and most importantly our commitment to charitable giving are why I decided to have Camping World/Good Sam serve as the title sponsor for his 5th Annual NBA All-Star party,” said Lemonis. “We are excited to align with one of the greatest basketball players in the league but more importantly one of the greatest individuals in the league as well.”

Dwyane Wade created “Wade’s World Foundation” to provide education, health and social skills to children living in Florida, Wisconsin and Illinois. His efforts in Miami, Milwaukee and Chicago have enriched numerous children’s lives as the foundation’s motto is “Every Child Deserves A Shot.” For more information on the foundation, visit www.wadesworldfoundation.org

Lemonis is also committed to charitable organizations in the three cities and recently appeared on NBC’s “Celebrity Apprentice” which helped to raise over a million dollars for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Lemonis personally donated to many charities including St. Jude’s, Zacharias sexual abuse center, and several other national and local charities. This year, Lemonis’ philanthropy will be highlighted during a full episode of ABC’s “Secret Millionaire” where he will personally help revive three charities in need.
